Finally I have technology that works and can bring you a post featuring a very exciting Spring Summer collection from Japanese Label 'Comechatto & Closet'. Now unfortunately, I can't really find out much information about this label, however, the images are so strong that I simply couldn't not post them. The styling is really clever as it creates a cool and quirky image, however, individually garments have mainstream appeal. There is a bold use of colour and a mix of patterns which are then teamed up with cool accessories, for both boys and girls. It really is one of our favourite new discoveries here at Dilly Headquarters....it is great to be back! (All Images & Rights Reserved Comechatto & Closet)

Generator AW13
We are loving the new Autumn Winter 2013 Range from Japanese Brand Generator. Beautiful garments with so many styles all melted down into great little outfits. Cool, on-trend with a little Japanese quirk, mixed in with a little French classic styling and street attitude. See the boys range and more here.

COCOmag
One of the exciting things about social media is that you get exposed to all sorts of people and brands that you wouldn't necessarily see. COCOmag is a Japanese kids lifestyle magazine that started following me on Pinterest and naturally I reciprocated. It has become a really resource. I am a great fan of Japanese fashion however, COCOmag features clothing and brands from around the world. They have a great website (although the translation I use probably isn't that great! Still pictures speak a thousand words) There are cool features, trend reviews, styling, great graphics and links to fashion brands/shops. It is a really cool website, so click on the link above and take a look.

Soha World
No one does kidswear like Japan. It is quirky, cool, practical, colourful and really distinctive. I've been following Japanese street fashion for many years and it has been an influence on British street fashion, especially amongst sub-cultures. Images i've collected over the years just don't date and are just as relevant/ forward thinking today as they were several years ago. I think it is because it is playful and off the wall you can never tire of it. Exactly how childhood should be! I've come across this brand SohaWorld, it doen't really explain where it is based, but it definitely looks Japanese. Absolutely gorgeous dresses teamed up with long socks and baseball boots. The boyswear is uber cool, casual tees and jeans. Lots of brands struggle with boyswear. Its very easy to do girlswear and find a specific niche, boys is a lot harder. Infact, half the problem is that brands / retailers try too hard. Simplicity is often the key. Check out Dilly's favourite outfits below.
