I follow Curious Pip on instagram and absolutely love her (Sarah Burford) work.  Beautifully illustrated, slightly quirky, vintage glamour circus showgirls, starlets and chorus girls - what is not to love!  I recently came across a post of a glittery print - 'Belinda and the bear' (pictured) and I had to make a purchase.  I love it so much I just had to share.  She also makes gorgeous dolls, so please click on the link and have some joy brought into your life!

BOOkidswear

I have been a little bit quiet of late, the usual disillusion mixed with the constant nagging of 'what am I going to do now!!!'  Sprinkled with lots of other projects, but then something always grabs me and I am compelled to share. BOO by BOOkidswear is the most innovative girlswear I have seen for sometime.  Really quirky, with geometric, graphic detailing and detachable adornments such as baby animals.  I love the photography and the beautifully illustrated backdrops.  Plus a great use of colour.

Unfortunately, I cannot find out much about this label other than it is based in Croatia and I think the little girl in the photos is the designers daughter.  Hopefully, I will be able to find out more information and bring it to you.  But for now, check out her Etsy Store and Pinterest boards.....I think you will agree, it is a real find.  Thank you Bookidswear for restoring my faith!

Janine Basil

I came across Janine Basil via a Facebook page recommendation and instantly fell in love!  I have a wedding in a few weeks and I will definitely be purchasing something from her Etsy page.  I am a sucker for hair accessories and always like to have a nod to vintage/rockabilly, so it is right up my street.  However, I am a little apprehensive about sharing with you as my fellow blogger and good friend Emma at No-Debutante is also going to said wedding; we have declared a style off!  I can guarantee she is going to be a fan too.

Janine creates retro, geek style hats / fascinators / jewellery / hairbands / hair clips and much more at her home in London.   They are just amazing, super glamorous and will make any outfit, so check out her website / etsy shop and be inspired.

Supayana

For me, the power of Pinterest is that you get to discover new and exciting products that you just wouldn't see normally.  Today I came across a great photograph that instantly made me what to discover more.....this took me to the Etsy shop Supayana.  Designed by Yana Gorbulsky in Quebec Canada with a clear focus on vintage, recycled fabrics and local sourcing.  There is an air of 'bohemia' about the garments, with easy styling and comfy fabrics.  I love the originality of these garments, with their bright prints and illustrated 'cut&sew' panels.  See more of the range here at Etsy and for more background information see the website here
